A bit more about me
I was born in Austin, Texas and lived in the same house for 24 years. I knew I wanted to be a teacher from the time I was 5 years old. I graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. My major is Elementary Education with a double minor in English and Social Studies. I taught 3rd grade for 9 years, 4th grade for 2 years and I am beginning my 4th year at fifth grade. I have been married for 21 years and have 3 daughters. Jennifer is 25, Briana is 19 and Angela is 15. We have 3 cats. I'm extremely patient and very organized. I absolutely LOVE to read aloud to children. Every year, I hope to instill that love of reading in my students!!!!!
