As a Teacher Advancement Program Master Teacher, Robin Adams helps with teacher mentoring, staff development and teacher training to enhance instruction and increase student achievement. She believes that quality, effective instruction is the greatest gift we can give children as educators. One of her greatest joys are the relationships that she develops with students, parents, and staff as they work together to provide instruction that makes a difference in the lives of children.
Robin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with specializations in reading and early childhood from the University of Houston and holds a Masters Degree in Elementary Education for Stephen F. Austin University with a reading emphasis. She was a classroom teacher for 23 years before leaving the classroom to become the Professional Development Specialist in Bryan ISD in
1997. In the fall of 2008, she became a Master Teacher at Jones Elementary with the Teacher Advancement Program. She has been named "Teacher of the Year" at Tarkington Independent School District and Bryan Independent School District.
